Themes For My Profolio

1. Apocalypse, I could do a theme based on teh apocalypse. If i did my profolio based on the apocalypse I would have the disaster that caused the apocalypse be nuclear fallout because nuclear fallout allows destroyed buildings and also allows peopel to survive. I also would make my profolio to have alot of steampunk elements because steampunk is all about using things to create other things.

2. Shelf Full of Games, click a game to open the game case and each game is different. I would have each game case and each design inside be different and similar to an art style of one of my favourite games. I could alos have my favourite game characters in it but I woudl have to change them as not to break copy writting laws.

3. Machinima, I could do a Michinima like profolio similar to my favourite Machinima show Red Vs. Blue. I could have my own voices in my profolio actign as the voices for michinima characters in my profolio. I would make it like inside a videogame but the chjaracters would n't act like the characters in the game and would comment about my profolio.

4. Zombies, I could do a Zombie based profolio. In it I could have cliche zombie related stuff such as slow moving zombies. I would have my profolios main page be like a city street where there are zombies walking around. I would make it so that the things you click will be like a zombies head and his head would blow up and also a car that when clicked would set off a car alarma nd the zombies would run at it.

5. I could do a profolio based on remakes of horror movies. Such as the new Friday the 13th and the new Nightmare on Elmstreet. I would have like teh old classic versions of them fighting their remakes and I could also have them in black and white. Also I could put it in a classic horror movie scene. I could make the different scenes be different scenes in famous horror movies.

Profolio Ideas and Inspiration

My first favourite profolio is found at http://www.ff0000.com/ I really like what they did with this. NOt only did they make it really interactive but they also allowed you to talk to other people on the website. Another aspect of this profolio is the interesting art design, I liek how the character models are in old time colors such as an old picture, also how the environment is a nice cold blue tint to it. I also like how in the profolio you can navigate by flyign your character around and can access other parts of the site by doing this.

This profolio appears very professional because not only does it haev alot of advanced stuff in it, It also is not over kill and allows you to actually navigate with ease and have fun while doing it. This profolio has given me inspiration to add alot of interactive elements int o my profolio.

My second favourite profolio is found at http://www.tbwahakuhodo.co.jp/ thsi one is really wacky and fun and has alot of stuff from other forms of media such as photography computer generated stuff as well as a few video clips. I also really like how when you mouse over an object it does somethign interestign as is shown with the boat.

It looks really proffessional aposed to an amateur profolio because it has very complementary colors and is easy to see what you can click as well as what the site is about. I am inspired to add complementary colors into my profolio to match what I want my profolio to be about.

World Flag

What I like Most About My Flag

I really like my flag, I think it symbolizes equality, acceptance, and unity very well. One thing I really like is the stars, the stars each represent a country and in total their are 194 stars that represent all the countries in the world. I also really like the fact that I have 3/4 of the flag being blue representign our planet being 3/4 water. I liked the most the overall symbols found in my flag as well as the color scheme.

What I Didn't Like About My Flag

I had very few things about my flag that i didn't like. But one of the thing I didn't like about my flag is the fact that I have a little lack of symbols. I didn't like this because it makes my flag seem to appear a little bit basic compared to other flags but in reality flags are supposted to be fairly simplistic. Another thing that i didn't like was the fact that the top right hand corner of my flag is barren. Other than those two things I don't have anything else that I don't like about my flag

What Symbolizes A One World Flag

This is my idea for a one world flag. For it I added multiple symbols symbolizing equality and unity. I had the symbol of an equal sign symbolizing our world and everyone on it being equal. I also added 194 stars to symbolize all the countries in the world. I made the flag be 3/4ths blue to symbolize our planet and the fact that 3/4 of our world is water. I also added a large + sign in the dead center of the flag symbolizing acceptance to everyone regardless of their race or gender.

World Flag

The average flag has abou 3 colors in it, the most is around 6 or 7. Flags seem either to contain squares or triangles and are pretty basic with the shapes. The flags do not have any fading and are pretty basic colors.

Three things that can make this movie an art movie is that the film's end is open for interpretation and is unclear as to whether she died or what happened at the end. Another thing that could make it be considered an art movie is because it isn't really mainstream and it is all about the creativity and imagination. It could also be considered an art movie because it is in spanish and not meant to be watched by all people and is meant to be watched and to interpret what you think of the film.

2. How is this movie perhaps more creative than most main stream movies?

It is more creative because it is not meant to be easily understood and is an entire fantasy world and is not based on a book.

3. Did you like or dislike the film?

I found the4 film to be interesting but overall I didn't like it because it is not my kind of movie, but I do like the darker look at fairy tale creatures and the dark atmosphere.

Leonardo Davinci Inventions

I think Leonardo DaVinci invented these inventions because he found a practical use for them in his time or in the future. In Leonardo's inventions are ideas that we use even in this day and are way ahead of their time. Leopardo DaVinci's inventions seem to have military aplications. Leonardo DaVinci made designs for some of our greatest discoveries randing from flight to breathing under water. Leonardo invented a parachute type invention, I think he invented this in order safely survive from very high falls. He also invented 3 separate concept designs for flying machines. I think that he invented these devices in order to see more of the world. Leonardo also invented both a tank like machine and an underwater breathing aparatus. Leonardo's tank design could only be used for one thing and that is to transport people safely during battles. Leonardo's diving suit is an interesting invention. This invention is used in order to explore the ocean without the need to have a hose attached to the surface. I think Leonardo's flying machine has the biggest impact on modern society of all his inventions. IN modern times with flight we are able to travel great distances in mere hours and we are able to go to other countries with ease.

a) I see a pair of business shoes. I believe these shoes represent businessmen that horde money and keep it out of the economy and in turn pretty well bury it in there bank accounts.

b) I believe the artist is trying to get the message across that people need to be more lenient with there money and not save ti as much and enjoy it. Also to spend your money while you are alive because you can't enjoy your money when you are dead.

c) I really like this image because it points out a key problem with money and is visually appealing. I like it because of the colors and the simple black and white image.

What I like most about my video

I really like how I made the clock on the tree slide off of it. I like this because it changes the painting drastically and is done so with alot of attention to how the sides are proportional. I also really like the walking spider elephant the is the second last moving object that I have. I really like it because it is really different and fits well with the overall graphic style of the painting and made it easy to make it look nice. I also really like my Easter egg that I added to my video. The Easter egg is Michelle's name that is hidden because she gave me a cool idea.

What I would change

I wold probably change the paint job I added to the area that the clock hanged in the tree. I would of done a more thorough job at making sure the textures matched. Also I would have had an object like a train coming out through the mountain, the reason I didn't do this was because of time constraints and the sheer amount of work it would take to get the angles right.

What is the new meaning of this painting

I believe the new meaning of this painting is that everything changes with time. I think this because in the painting there are clocks that change through the course of the video. Also because in the end the painting ends up being completely different than the original image and has changed from its original three melting clocks to an image that has a exploding clock,a slipping clock, a spider elephant, and even the image turning to night before disappearing into smoke.

3D Poster

Reflection:

What I like most is the frog because frogs are awesome. Also because of how much its eyes stand out along witht he ither colors like Red, Blue, and Yellow compared to the black background. I also really like the tree branches alot because of how much they stand out compared to the rest of the pictures. Th etree branches show the point of this assignment, which is to make things appear 3D and with the branches in particular I have suceeded.

What I likke least is the tree stump. I like this least because it doesn't really stand out with the 3D glasses. Other than the tree stump I like everything else because it is an awesome poster and should get a 100%.

The overall message of my poster is that we should stop clear cutting forests, in particular clear cuttign the rain forest. This is because the rainforest is home to thousands of different species of animals and it takes a long time for trees to grow back. It may be a bit ironic that my poster is about deforestation because my family owns a sawmill but we don't clear cut and do our best at practicing good foresting. Well, another message of my poster is that deforestation has caused some animals to go extinct due to loss of habitat and/or loss of food. Anyway those are the messages present in my poster.

For the spirit of Endurance assignment I think I will make an image where thaere is a person percevering through hardships. I could show this by having chains attached to the person and have images connected to hardships we face in everyday life ranging from tragic things to trying to pay payments. This is my plan for my Spirit of Endurance image.
