3D Object Reflection

What I like:

I like how smooth my object is and how cool it turned out to be. I also like the colors I chose because they really look good and make my object look really good. I also really like how the wings of the space ship are identical, this makes it look realistic and make it really cool. The ship took along time to get the body looking good because I had to make it from scratch and it was hard to make all of the curves look good but in the end it was worth it because the end result looked fantastic.

What I Dislike:

I dislike how hard it was to make the space ship. It was hard because the program was difficult to use but in the end it turned out to look great. Another thing I didn't like was the bottom of the space ship because it was difficult to make it fit properly. I didn't like that I wasn't able to add some of the things I wanted to but it was good looking in the end.

What I Would Change:

I would change the design of the ship to make it more sylized and have more detail like having cool engines, and having weaponry. I also would of changed the engine in the back to make it apear more realistic and have fire coming out bbut I didn't have time to do that. I also would of liked to add more textures to make it look more realistic. In the end I thought my ship was really cool and well done.

Reflection

What I like about my Video

I like the simple name and ending of my video it is awesome. I also like my story and how I used filters to make all the movies look like one single one. I thought my art video was awesome and is very creative. I like all the video clips I added. I liked the setting for my art video.

What I don't like about my video

I don't like how we had to use movie maker because It is not my favourite program to use. I also didn't like that there wasn't enough clips to use . But I didn't find it as hard as I thought it would be.

What I would change about my video

I would change very little in my video, I would change though the opening scenes to make it more clear what is happening with the cowboys. I would also add more chaos in my video and add more explosions and scenes with that really creepy guy that is at the end of my film.

Controller Animation and Written Reflection

What I like most about my animation

I like my idea a lot because I really like videogames, I find it interesting how acrobatic my controller turned out to be. My controller kind of has a boomerang, and spiderman feel which makes my controller seem like a fast and agile inanimate object. I also like how detailed my truck is and how smoothly it turned out to be. I like how my animation slows down sometimes to perform actions which looks awesome. I really like my decision to make it black and white because it makes it unique from everyone elses animation.

What I like least about my animation

What I like least about my animation would probably be the fact that I didn't really have any cliche videogame things like any mario 2D style or ? blocks. I didn't have time in my animation to add all those things to my animation after I had him getting the battery but it turned out to be really cool. I also don't like how I have only a controller and no secondary characters but it went well with the feel I was going for. I decided to make the animation seem like the controller was the only thing that was alive, it made the animation seem like you could really follow the controller on his journey.

If I could do it again what would I change

If I was able to redo my animation I would probably add a secondary character like a big slow console which the controller would have to get out of trouble. But I didn't have time in my 12 second animation. I really would of liked to have forks and other household things to attack the controller when he came in through the cat door but again I didn't have time. I would also change the background sound to a mario theme but I didn't find it. Overall I really like my animation and found it interesting to do.

Started a Blog

For my media art's class we had to make a blog which is wierd cuz the school hates networking sites like facebook, so you would think that they would hate a site that allows you to talk to people during class! Oh well it is a good way to use up class time!
